Starting from 1 November 2021, Thailand allows fully vaccinated visitors from 46 low-risk countries to stay in Thailand after one night of quarantine and a negative RT-PCR Test.

If you are fully vaccinated you may enter Thailand without quarantine under the "No Quarantine Program". You must be traveling from one of the 46 Listed Low-Risk Countries and you must have stayed in the country of departure for at least 21 days before traveling to Thailand.

You are not required to undergo a mandatory quarantine or sandbox stay, however, you need to stay for 1 night in an accredited SHA+ hotel or ASQ hotel while you wait for the result of your RT-PCR COVID 19 test taken upon arrival. After which, you will be allowed to stay at any accommodation of your choice and travel to other parts of Thailand.

Required Documents:

- A Certificate of Vaccination (fully vaccinated) with an approved vaccine at least 14 days before travelling.

- Those previously infected within 3 months must have received at least 1 dose of an approved vaccine a minimum of 14 days before travelling.

- Travellers under 12 years of age, travelling with parents or guardians, are exempt from the vaccination requirements.

- A Medical Certificate with a RT-PCR lab result indicating that COVID-19 is not detected and issued no more than 72 hours before travelling (this is a requirement for all travellers).

- A confirmed payment for at least a 1-night stay at SHA+, AQ, OQ, or AHQ accommodation, and 1 RT-PCR test.

- An insurance policy with coverage no less than US$50,000.

1 - Register for a Thailand Pass at https://tp.consular.go.th/.

2 - Upload the required document (along with the valid visa and or re-entry permit, if required), and allow 3-5 working days for the approval process. Wait for the approval of the Vaccine Certification and paid accommodation, including the RT-PCR test.

3 - Confirm the approval, and receive a Thailand Pass QR Code (or COE)

1 - Present the Thailand Pass QR Code to the Health Control to carry out checks, then proceed through the Immigration procedures.

2 - Undergo the RT-PCR COVID-19 test at the reserved accommodation, or the pre-arranged test centre. (Children aged under 6 years have a saliva test.)

3 - Proceed to the hotel by the pre-arranged airport transfer. (Distance from the airport within 2 hours.)

4 - Download and install the MorChana application at the hotel.

1 - Wait for the test result within the hotel room.

2 - If testing negative for COVID-19, you will receive an Antigen Test Kit (ATK) for COVID-19 self-testing on Day 6-7.

3 - Get an alert for the self ATK testing on Day 6-7, and record the result in the MorChana application.

4 - Practice the D-M-H-T-T-A precautions:
D – Distancing, M – Mask wearing, H – Handwashing, T – Temperature check, T – Testing for COVID-19, and A – alert application.

You are free to travel anywhere in Thailand or leave Thailand to other countries, however, you are advised to follow the guidelines and measures announced by the respective province/country of their destination.

If you travel from non-listed countries but are fully vaccinated then you are eligible for one of the Sandbox programs. The Sandbox Program does not require mandatory quarantine. You are required to enter Thailand through Bangkok, Phuket, Samui, Pattaya, or Chiang Mai airports.

You are only required to stay in an accredited SHA+ Hotel within the Sandbox area or province for a minimum of 7 nights after which you are allowed to travel to other parts of Thailand.

At present, there are 17 provinces and cities that you can visit under the Sandbox Program.

If you are not vaccinated or only partially vaccinated you may enter Thailand under the quarantine program but you will be required to stay for 10 nights if you're traveling by air, sea, or by land.

You may book Quarantine Hotels in Bangkok, nearby provinces such as Samut Prakan, Nonthaburi, or Pattaya. You may also book in Phuket and Samui but the number of quarantine hotels is limited.
